Supa-shopper

Nowadays supermarkets can provide you with a cheaper alternative to most of the leading brands. However, I feel that there are a few consumables which one should not compromise on for the sake for a few pence. They are:

1) Tomato Ketchup - Needs to be Heinz
2) Baked Beans - Need to be Heinz
3) Frosted Flakes - Need to be Kelloggs (i.e. Frosties)

Not wanting to negate your list, but apparently the new branston beans are better than heinz!

For me, it's stock cubes.

It's got to be Oxo - Morrisons Bettabuy just won't cut it.

ooo, i dunno!! i do like my beans, and tesco value come very close to heinz!!

also some products are the same, but in different containers...i have had someone on the "inside" tell me that the stuff that goes into fosters (or one of the top larger brands, i cant remember exactly which one) is exactly the same as the stuff in sainsbury's basics larger!

hmm
